The subject of her Diploma Thesis was a 3D Numerical simulation of turbulent flow in the physical model of the sea water intake of the Greek Electricity Company in Aliveri. She continued her Postgraduate studies at the Institut National Polytechnique, Grenoble (INP) where she earned a Master degree in Hydraulic Engineering in 2014. Her Master Thesis was about the Dynamic analysis of two rock fill dams using both Finite Element and Finite Difference methods. In October 2014, she joined Idrostudi in the framework of Marie Curie Initial Training Network “SEDITRANS”, and in November 2014 she enrolled as PhD candidate at the Doctoral School in Earth Science and Fluid Mechanics (ESFM) of the University of Trieste, Italy. Her PhD research will focus on new techniques for solid transport modeling and she will work on the application of a hydrodynamic model for the analysis of solid transport on real cases of study of river and estuarine flows, and on the analysis of water courses evolution.
